Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
